Our iGEM project, ArMOLDgeddon, explored a synthetic biology-based approach to household mold removal
01 / EDUCATION & OUTREACH
As Education Leader, I helped turn our scientific work into a broader conversation between research and society. I coordinated team
members, planned outreach initiatives, and helped build an educational framework connecting foundational knowledge, hands-on
exploration, real-world applications, and ethical reflection.

03 / HUMAN PRACTICES & LABORATORY WORK
I also participated in Human Practices interviews to examine our project’s practical necessity and limitations, while spending nearly a
month working on glucanase-related experiments.
Moments from the laboratory
Moving between the lab, the community, and the classroom taught me that scientific innovation requires more than a
workable solution: it also requires listening to the people it hopes to serve.
